LantanaLinks.com was founded in 2003 by Max Miller, CEO of Miller Media Holdings LLC, based in Lantana, TX.

Miller, who has a background in broadcast journalism and new media, saw the need for a comprehensive web portal focusing on neighborhood news and information for southern Denton County.

LantanaLinks.com was a big hit with the public and area businesses, who wanted to get the word out to new residents about their products and services.

Due in large part to LantanaLinks.com extensive coverage of local government, Miller was elected to the Denton County Fresh Supply Water District #6 Board of Directors in 2006.

Miller Media Holdings LLC, acquired The Cross Timbers Gazette - the oldest local newspaper in southern Denton County - in November 2006.
